Who You Are:
You’re an agile aviation IFEC expert. Perhaps you have worked at an aircraft OEM and love rolling up your sleeves and leading from the front. You read, learn, examine, and are full of ideas. What You’ll Do:
- Build on and develop partnerships and relationships with aircraft manufacturers (OEMs), relevant distribution partners, and other stakeholders to support the interests of Eutelsat Oneweb in both Commercial, Business Aviation, and Global Government Aviation.
- Actively collaborate to build our credibility while supporting active campaigns and marketing/demo activities with business jet, global government customers and commercial Airlines across the globe.
- Engage aircraft and UAV manufacturers (OEMs) to educate, guide, and position Eutelsat OneWeb terminals availability for customers of all aircraft sizes.
- Coordinate and delegate to other divisions within Eutelsat Oneweb, for execution and delivery of projects and programs to drive OEM, DP, and customer satisfaction.
- Create and maintain relationships with key airlines, customers, and internal stakeholders, help guide the decision-making process and create connectivity needs for OW services at OEMs in both line-fit and after-market pursuits.
- Ensure opportunities convert into revenues to drive commercial growth and win pursuits at OEM partners.
- Maintain, prioritize and report ‘sales’ pursuit activities, build strategic reports and construct commercial rational, to support our DPs active campaigns, for short- and long-term forecasts.
- Navigate internal processes to ensure efficient delivery of items to OEMs and DPs. Report possible program risks to mitigate our exposure, that includes regional regulatory compliance and Service Level Management.
- Support Business Development Directors activities and international industry events for commercial, government, and business aviation.
- Engage with and maintain relations with other key IFEC players – ensure OW services and products are relevant, and the roadmap is optimized based on market needs. (UT, Pricing/SLA, Services etc.) to capture incremental market share.
- Maintain an appreciation for aircraft manufacturing trends, volume, opportunities, and advantageous market access prospects. Work closely with the strategy team to gather market intelligence and report internally.
- Represent Eutelsat OneWeb at relevant events, media, and shows related to OEMs; regionally or globally when necessary.
What It Takes:
- The ability to maintain an industrial vigilance on opportunities and create partnerships and relationships with industry players, while autonomously leading the OEM engagement for Eutelsat OneWeb Business, Global Government, and Commercial Aviation.
- Be able to work directly with the internal stakeholders, as well as via global partners, to help hunt and drive sales. Successfully position Eutelsat OneWeb Services for both line-fit and after-market sales at OEMs and MROs.
- Pipeline management skills – maintain accurate pipeline data at an OEM level
- Work to deliver innovative solutions to challenges offered by the market sector
- Quickly get to know all about the OEM and the customer’s business structure, the suppliers, revenues, trends and of course our competitors.
What We’d Love:
- Have a solid understanding of aircraft manufacturers’ market and trends – ideally both technically and commercially.
- 5-7 years of direct experience with an OEM aircraft manufacturer from a business or technical perspective
- The ability to sell and promote solutions into both the business and commercial aviation sectors
- Demonstratable 5+ years of experience and success in direct and in-direct sales, especially in a strategy, consultancy, sales-type role
- Be an expert not just with, or through, but also in tracking all phases of customer engagement and being an integral part of their success.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, with strong synthesis skills.
- An agile approach to thinking and solution finding
Where You’ll Be: US based – with occasional travel as required.
