Who You Are:
A highly organized and proactive individual with a keen interest in supply chain management or procurement. You have strong communication skills and are comfortable tracking vendor performance, managing data, and coordinating with both internal teams and vendors. What You’ll Do:
- Lead Vendor Calls: Organize, attend, and lead weekly and monthly calls with vendors to follow up on production activities, share forecasts, and discuss other supply chain-related topics.
- Vendor Management Support: Assist the Vendor Management Lead in daily tasks, including tracking and assessing vendor performance against KPIs.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of vendor performance, contracts, and key documentation, ensuring easy access for audit readiness.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the company and vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding performance issues, updates, and improvements.
- KPI Tracking and Reporting: Monitor vendor KPIs, identify trends or issues, and report findings to the Vendor Management Lead or Supply Chain Manager for action.
- Vendor Performance Evaluation: Assist in conducting vendor reviews, performance evaluations, and resolving any issues that may arise with vendors.
- Documentation Management: Ensure that all vendor agreements, contracts, and performance data are properly organized for efficient access.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the supply chain to gather and analyze data related to vendor performance and compliance.
- Impact on the Supply Chain: Lead the integration between product requirements and supply chain needs, ensuring that supply chain processes are aligned with the development and introduction of new products, thereby impacting the overall efficiency and success of the supply chain.
What it Takes:
- Proficiency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for engaging with global vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and update large volumes of data, consistently tracking various KPIs.
- Communication Skills: Confident and clear in communicating with internal teams and vendors.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within the supply chain department and support vendor management activities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with vendor management or supply chain management software is a plus.
- Previous experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain.
What We’d Love:
- Prior experience with vendor management software or familiarity with supply chain management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effective communications with international teams and vendors.
