Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior System Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a critical role in managing, configuring, and optimizing complex IT systems. You will ensure high performance, security, and reliability of our infrastructures. Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in managing, configuring, and optimizing complex IT systems, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a combination of advanced technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong team-oriented mindset.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructures.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and security.
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues and provide third-level support.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to optimize IT infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute system updates and security patches.
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical configurations.
  • Coordinate and mentor junior team members.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and IT infrastructures.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewall, load balancing).
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
  • Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
  • Strong ability to work in a team and manage projects independently.
  • Proficiency in Italian and fluency in English (both written and oral).
  • Availability for short business trips.
