Job description

Integrate the Department of Services Operations.

You will join the WAN Infrastructure team as alternate from a school of Engineers for a duration of 1 to 2 years, shared between your school and Eutelsat Group, in charge of deployment and maintenance activities related to the telecom infrastructure in co-ordination with 3rd parties and internal resources.

The telecom infrastructure covers:

• Leased lines and all other telecom services (Internet, IP Transit, …)
• Telecom sites (carrier hotels, customer sites)
• Optical infrastructure (WDM)
• Ensure the activities are carried out in compliance with Service Operations security policy.

Job responsibilities

• Maintenance and operational interface with 3rd parties for the telecom infrastructure (leased lines, remote sites). Interface with other teams for integration of telecom infrastructure in the Eutelsat network.
• Implementation of new telecom infrastructure (leased lines, hosting services)
• Ensure support in working hours for the telecom infrastructure with subcontractors and in co-ordination with internal teams.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of commercial services, in coordination with the other teams, endorsing the management of projects in coordination with the WAN Manager.
• Produce relevant reporting associated to the telecom services.

• Networking and Telecommunication skills
• Compétences i nthe domain of optical transmission.
• Knowledge of telecom site infrastructure, datacenter
• Interested in teamwork, in a multicultural environment.
• Self-driven and proactive
• Fluent in English

You will be based in France in the Rambouillet Teleport
