Who You Are: 

 

You will be joining the Technical Office team at Eutelsat's Rambouillet teleport for an internship in fluid mechanics (air conditioning, ventilation, heating), as part of the implementation of the environmental management system / ISO14001.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • You apply your skills in the field of fluids and energy, in a context of distribution, use and optimal management for the site;
  • You are able to propose efficient, sustainable solutions that respect the environment and regulations, while optimizing costs;
  • You demonstrate autonomy and initiative, communication skills, and interaction with the Infrastructure team's stakeholders;
  • You take part in optimizing the site's energy efficiency;
  • You keep your knowledge up to date, maintain a technological and regulatory watch, and mobilize your information resources;
  • You understand, apply and enforce the standards and regulations in force and the safety rules specific to each installation;
  • You communicate orally (meetings, presentations, relations, etc.) and in writing (technical documents, analysis and recommendation reports, operating reports, specifications, reports on work carried out, quotations and reports, etc.);
  • You use the technical documentation provided and, in particular, draw up an HVAC (air-conditioning, ventilation, heating) booklet as described in the Order of July 24, 2020 on the periodic inspection of thermodynamic systems and ventilation systems combined with heating whose rated output exceeds 70 kilowatts.

 

What it Takes:

 

  • You are preparing a degree in engineering or a degree in design;
  • You are familiar with tools such as Pack Office and CAD;
  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team;
  • You have a good level of technical English.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration machine operation
  • Ability to adapt

Where You’ll Be:

 

  • You will be based at the Rambouillet site, the largest teleport in Europe, a strategic location and an emblematic site in the history of telecommunications.
