Profile

-BAC+5 graduate, from University or Telecom Engineering school and already have at least 3 years of experience as a telecom engineer in the field of Digital TV.

-The candidate has proven technical skills in at least one of the areas of IPTV (multicast) or Digital television  (encoders, multiplexers, modulators).

-The candidate has significant experience in End-to-End Architecture in these areas and he has already defined and written functional, contractual and performance specifications.

Mission:

- Define, optimize and implement the functional and operational architecture of the service platform infrastructures, the technical environment, customer solutions and operating resources.

- Operate the video distribution ( new implementation, maintenance on the running architecture).

- Carry out on-call duties outside working hours by ensuring the continuity of Video and IP data connection services. This activity involves collaboration with the control center team for level 2 troubleshooting of all services.

- Carry out technical monitoring.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

- Broadcast (DVB)

- Video processing: compression, multiplexing, encryption, transport.

- CAS (DVB Simulcrypt).

- Fluent English

Knowledge in the following areas would be appreciated:

-Italian and French

-Expertise with Synamedia, Ateme, Newtec (ST Engineering), Harmonic products.

- IT: Virtualization, Linux

-familiar with the ITIL process
