Job Overview

We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety at the RMB teleport. The role includes managing suppliers, coordinating repairs, supporting procurement, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the buildings and facilities at RMB teleport  

• Monitor and supervise suppliers and service providers following-up contracts 

• Daily contacts with the maintenance suppliers on facility-related matters 

• Drafts documentation for the procurement of facility-related services, building and renovation works and furniture or equipment 

• Provide for the annual preparation of the facility budget and inform about project delays and/or criticalities in order to ensure budget tracking and budget forecast exercises 

• Ensure a safe work environment and the safety of the teleport staff using the facility 

• Ensure a safe work site when conducting repairs or maintenance and the maintenance, repair and renovation of buildings and its infrastructure 

• Identify, report and correct safety hazards 

• Implement and adhere to company policy objectives 

What You’ll Need:

• Master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or mathematics or equivalent work experience  

• Knowledge of Budget Management and trade safety practices 

• Knowledge of support services for technical facilities organization and management (administration, procurement of goods and services, stores, logistics, maintenance and repair of technical facilities) 

• Knowledge of building codes and working knowledge of electrical theory and mechanical principles 

• Organization and communication skills  

• Excellent written and oral skills in English  

• ISO 14001 expertise
