The Team:
The Radio Frequency Team is in charge of all aspects related to design, deployment and exploitation of RF assets infrastructure and systems used to deliver broadband and broadcast commercial services, In Orbit Test (IOT) activities, Telemetry Tracking and Command (TTC) missions and Payload Monitoring activities.
Your impact:
You will join our Ground Payload Systems Engineering team, integrated within our Radio Frequency Engineering team.
The Radio Frequency Engineering team is a center of competence gathering expertise in RF payload monitoring systems. They provide engineering support to the Eutelsat Control Centers, support measurement infrastructure and systems; and follow the development of new operational requirements on all payload monitoring systems.
Your missions :
In the scope of the payload monitoring system, we operate 96 antennae over the world and these antennae are connected to 1050 measurement paths.
In the scope of European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) program hosted on our satellites E5WB and HB13G, we are deploying 2 couple of 2 stations and we need to reinforce the team to support this activity.
In the scope of this position, you will :
- Support the deployment of payload monitoring activities for EGNOS payload
- Handle the early-stage operations on EGNOS program
- Reinforce the team on all calibration topics
- Reinforce the team on all payload monitoring topics
Your profile:
- University degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- A strong motivation for systems engineering is essential
- Microwave / high frequency RF engineering
- Understanding of RF Systems, Antenna Systems, Satellite Communication Systems and Software Defined Radio
- Good understanding of RF communication signal design techniques (e.g. modulation, encoding, filtering)
