Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Regional Sales Manager – Mexico, Central America & Caribbean to join our team and play a critical role. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within an organization that values growth, teamwork, and professional development.

 

Who You Are:

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager with deep experience in the telecommunications industry, ideally within the Satellite Communications (SATCOM) segment, to drive business growth across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. This role will focus heavily on channel management, distributor engagement, and new business development, while coordinating closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a network of distributors and channel partners across the assigned region to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Act as the primary business developer (hunter) for new opportunities in the region, including identifying and closing new customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, resellers, and key stakeholders in both commercial and government sectors.
  • Lead and facilitate multi-functional workstreams with sales support teams including marketing, pre-sales engineering, logistics, and finance to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and partner strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting via CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

What You’ll Need

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • Minimum +7 years of experience in sales or business development in the telecommunications (SATCOM industry a plus)
  • Proven experience managing and developing channel/distributor networks across LATAM, preferably in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to open new markets and close deals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading internal sales support workstreams and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region (up to 50%)

 

Preferred Attributes

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and procurement processes in Latin American markets.
  • Existing relationships with key regional players in the SATCOM space.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and results-oriented professional.
