Your impact:

 

Eutelsat is in search of a Global Logistics Analyst responsible for providing overall logistics support through leadership and oversight of our global gateway sustainment as a part of the Global Logistics Team. The Global Logistics Analyst will have the ability to influence major initiatives and develop critical capabilities in support of the Ground Infrastructure program while being primarily responsible to manage the full lifecycle of international shipments, using their working knowledge of export compliance, air freight, sea freight and truck services to both domestic and international customers and distribution partners.

 

 

 

Your missions:

 

  • Provide full logistical support to all business segments within Eutelsat including but not limited to: Ground Infrastructure, Demos, IT, Marketing, and User Terminals
  • Works hand in hand with Global Logistics Manager to ensure that logistical priorities are properly addressed
  • Lead in maintaining shipment schedules, coordinating with forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal teams
  • Coordinate shipments to multiple international destinations from multiple suppliers, and storage locations
  • Review and approve shipping documents provided by suppliers against associated purchase orders prior to shipping
  • Work closely with the Export Compliance Team to develop country by country strategies and ensure all requirements are met
  • Coordinate with designated customs brokers to resolve any shipment issues related to customs and other government agencies' holds
  • Close internal transactions in support to P2P operations with accounting, tax, legal and compliance teams
  • Develop new and improve current processes focused on improved efficiency
  • Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, and process documentation
  • Create, maintain, and track against yearly and quarterly logistics budgets
  • Work with Tax department heads to develop best practices, and provide detailed record keeping entries for yearly tax filings
  • Work with Eutelsat logistics insurance firm to provide current and projected coverage needs
  • Manage logistics invoicing from 3rd party vendors, communicate with AP, and resolve any invoice errors

 

 

Requirements:  

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Global Logistics, Export Compliance, and Supply Chain
  • Fluent English-Mandatory
  • Technical or associates degree in related field or an additional 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret INCOTERMS
  • Working knowledge of Harmonized Codes (Schedule B, HTS, Tarif)
  • Working knowledge of Export Classification Control (ECCN)
  • Ability to construct metrics and KPI’s
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Office, Power Point, Visio, Project)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external contacts
  • Must exhibit the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in order of importance and manage multiple projects at once with critical deadlines
  •  International experience dealing with various INCOTERM standards and export/import regulations
