What You’ll Do:

The Customer Supply Specialist reports to the Customer Supply Manager. He/she performs all activities and tasks necessary to operate the orders deliveries all over the world.

 

What it Takes: 

  • Being the SPOC for distribution partners in AMERICAS.
  • Being in direct touch with distribution partners, internal support function, logistics and transportation partners to manage and follow the orders to be prepared and delivered.
  • Monitoring the service level of the deliveries: end to end leadtime from the order receipt up to the delivery.
  • Monitoring the costs: to prepare and to deliver.
  • Managing potential claims & delays for the assigned distribution partners.
  • Working with teams within the Supply Chain in order to secure the demand and stock availability for future requests from partners.
  • Implementing and animating improvement action plan.
  • Finding solutions to improve our service level and customer satisfaction.
  • Structuring the methodology and the process and contributing to the deployment
  • Being the SPOC for shipments of equipment to technical sites for specific testing and monitoring.
  • Being in direct touch with internal engineering team in order to anticipate the rollout of equipment on specific sites.

 

Requirements:  

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Global Logistics, Export Compliance, and Supply Chain
  • Technical or associates degree in related field or an additional 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret INCOTERMS
  • Working knowledge of Harmonized Codes (Schedule B, HTS, Tarif)
  • Working knowledge of Export Classification Control (ECCN)
  • Ability to construct metrics and KPI’s
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Office, Power Point, Visio, Project)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external contacts
  • Must exhibit the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in order of importance and manage multiple projects at once with critical deadlines
  •  International experience dealing with various INCOTERM standards and export/import regulations
