Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled CSC L1 to join our team and play a critical role in technical support and attention to customers over the entire Eutelsat fleet.
To support the commissioning of Earth Stations, adjustment of transmissions and attention to the activation/deactivation of Services, configuration of the Payload in the satellite fleet, follow-up to IRF and EIRP tickets, as well as follow-up to customer requests
This position involves high collaboration with cross-functional teams, requiring coordination with Engineering, Sales, Presales, Planning and other relevant stakeholders. What You’ll Do:
- Work 24x7 shifts at Mexico CSC. Assist customers to perform peaking and cross pole tests of customer earth stations
- Telephone support and attention to customers at the CSC, such as commissioning of ground stations, access to permanent satellite services
- Activation and deactivation of occasional services (OS), as well as creating Real Times in the SO reservation during non-business hours and days
- Spectral Review of transponders, troubleshooting and ticketing of interference, excess power and bandwidth
- Support in satellite fleet's payload configurations according to the transmission plans in the Eutelsat database.
- Verify and take action join with the Satellite Control department about the alarms on the transponder parameters as current, ALC, etc.
- First level of assistance for reports of interference, since the Call reception and ticket opening, immediate mitigation actions and support in follow-up activities.
- Initial support for Managed Services issues indicated in the UAC alarm console
- Execution of assigned activities and tasks at a specific time according to the calendar of activities scheduled in the CSC Calendar by requirements of internal and/or external clients
- Continuous review, attention and self-assignment of requests received via email at the CSC and their registration in ESM
- Daily review and read confirmation of the Special Working Instructions (SWI) log on the CSC dashboard to ensure the continuation of ongoing and pending activities
- Continuous reading, understanding and application of the procedures recorded on the CSC dashboard to ensure the correct execution of activities.
What You’ll Need:
- Engineering in Telecommunication, Telematics,
- Fluent in Spanish and English is mandatory
- Experience in Telecom or space sector

- At Mexico City Teleport: Mexico.
