What You’ll Do:

Directly interface select COMEX members (Chief Information Officer and Chief Operations Officer) and their teams to support strategic procurements including Satellites, Satellites Launches, User Terminals, License Agreements and other purchase in support of the Video and Connectivity constellations.

Procurement negotiation of contracts to close transactions, providing practical business guidance and raising material risks for business review and approval.

Working collaboratively with the Purchasing Department as well as other members of the Law Department including mentoring junior attorneys.

Opportunity to work on commercial transactions supporting the Video and Connectivity business.
What it Takes:

Collaborating with engineering and development teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Building strong stakeholder engagement across Compliance, Engineering, Procurement and the Law Department.

A strong interest in technology and Intellectual Property.

Confidence to lead negotiations on strategic initiatives alongside senior management.

Analytical and problem solving.

Supporting various competing objectives with tight timeframes.

Capacity to quickly grasp complex concepts and across many concurrent projects and distil critical sensitives to provide a comprehensive review for COMEX review and approval.

Experience working across time-zones and cultures.

Understand and manage relationships with external legal counsels and other legal service providers

Provide guidance to ensure that the stakeholders are compliant with applicable legislations and regulations
Where You’ll Be: London (U.K.), Issy (FRA) or Turin (Italy) Travel up to 20% of the time depending on location of role. Can work remotely two days per week.
