You will be working within the Group Cybersecurity Function, managing a small team and reporting to the Group CISO. You will have the ability to manage your own team to deliver expected projects timely and communicate security architecture principles easily with diverse teams operating in ICT, Satellite engineering and operations levels of a global organisation. As the manager of a small team, you’re expected to be the Security Architecture SME to guide multiple verticals to assure that differing security compliance standards and frameworks are met and fall in line with Group policies.

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate your team in identifying, reporting, and assisting in managing risks based on regulatory and security compliance matters to meet the enterprise compliance needs, report findings to internal governance forums or Senior Management Team to assure the overall cybersecurity risk for the business is managed through the life of projects, applications and services.
- Coordinate your team to work with business segments to deliver and assure security architecture frameworks supporting operational and engineering teams in line with group policy.
- Responsible and ensuring appropriate technical security controls for systems, cloud services, and business segments are in place.
- Coordinate your team to provide independent security guidance for operational, engineering, and design teams to protect systems and data in both cloud and hybrid environments.
- Responsible and ensuring appropriate assessments of cloud and hybrid service rollout models for technical, procedural, and governance controls.
- Ensure your team provides consistent and repeatable architectural delivery model.
- Coordinate your team to provide architectural security expertise for business programmes using agile, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Development/Testing methodologies.
What it Takes:
- Certification in systems architecture, cloud security or a similar qualification. (e.g TOGAF)
- Demonstratable evidence of 8+ years in delivering security design principles for applications, networks, and infrastructure. To include;
- Exposure to global business requirements.
- Dealing with large enterprise requirements with cloud or hybrid architecture requirements.
- Experience delivering within identified security frameworks, including - ISO27001/2005, NIST800-53 Rev 5, NIS1, CMMC
- Leadership and management of teams in delivering complex projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Message delivery to all levels within the business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and recognise when to seek advice.
- Effective workload prioritisation and deadline management.
- Negotiation skills for cost and risk-based decisions.
- Organisational and coordination skills for technical team efforts.
- Incident response expertise related to delivered architectures for both security and business resilience continuity.
- Ability to manage small team and motivate them in delivering complex projects within tight deadline.
- Ability and experience of driving Agile ways of working and execution at pace.
- Use of Jira and other tools needed for Agile planning.
What We’d Love:
- Team player – you will be working within the CISO group and will be the subject matter expert the team will be turning to for support.
- Background in telecommunications (TelCo).
- Native English will be preferred (or Fluent in English a must).
- Certification in CISSP, ISO 27001 or ISO 27005 would be an advantage.
- Able to meet the requirements to obtain and hold UK National security vetting.
Where You’ll Be: London office based. Some travel required to fulfil the duties.
