We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and play a critical role in representing a technology revolution in space. Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive strategic revenue growth across the Eastern United States. This role will focus on expanding enterprise, government, mobility, and distribution partner relationships within key verticals including public safety, utilities, mining, maritime, oil & gas, aviation, and rural broadband.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in telecommunications, satellite connectivity, or managed network services, with a proven ability to open new markets, structure complex deals, and build long-term strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Market Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new revenue opportunities across the Eastern U.S.
- Build and execute territory business plans aligned with North America growth objectives.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for enterprise and government verticals.
Enterprise & Government Sales
- Drive direct engagement with large enterprise customers and state/federal agencies.
- Lead full sales lifecycle: prospecting, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Coordinate with pre-sales engineering, product, and operations to deliver tailored solutions.
Distribution Partner (DP) Expansion
- Recruit, enable, and grow strategic distribution partners.
- Support joint business planning and pipeline development with DPs.
- Drive enablement initiatives including training and co-marketing efforts.
Competitive Positioning
- Identify competitive threats (LEO, GEO, Fiber, 5G) and position differentiated value.
- Gather market intelligence to support pricing and product strategy feedback.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Deliver monthly pipeline reviews and quarterly business updates.
Meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin targets.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in telecommunications, satellite, or enterprise network services.
- Demonstrated success in B2B complex solution sales ($500K+ deal size preferred).
- Experience selling into enterprise, public sector, or mobility verticals.
- Strong negotiation and contract structuring capabilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in matrixed international organizations.
- Willingness to travel (30–50%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LEO/GEO satellite solutions.
- Existing relationships in public safety, utilities, maritime, or defense sectors.
- Familiarity with U.S. federal procurement processes.
- Experience managing Distribution Partner ecosystems.
