Who You Are: 

  • The Tax Directorate of the Group defines and implements the Group's tax policy by supporting and securing the Group's development operations in France, as well as internationally.
  • It performs advisory, coordination, and supervisory functions to provide expert support to various departments (operational, financial, accounting, etc.) to ensure the reliability of the Group's various taxes and duties, identify and monitor the Group's tax risks, and manage tax audits.
  • As a true business partner you will report to to the Group Tax Director within a team of 4 people.

What You’ll Do:

  • Advising subsidiaries in the context of their current and exceptional operations involving various national taxes and duties: corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, customs duties, and all other direct and indirect contributions.
  • Assisting subsidiaries in the context of their tax audits and disputes: assisting subsidiaries undergoing audits, in discussions with the tax authorities, and during contentious phases.
  • Supporting operational and commercial teams: analyzing the tax impacts of projects, reviewing and negotiating tax clauses to be included in contracts.
  • Preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation, defending the Group's transfer pricing model, and corresponding economic analyses.
  • Assisting teams in considering the tax consequences of restructuring, creating, or liquidating subsidiaries, including within the framework of integrating companies into the Group.
  • Training and raising awareness among various stakeholders on the Group's main tax issues.
  • Tax monitoring and communication on changes impacting Group companies.



What it Takes: 

  • You have a higher education background in Corporate Taxation (a Master's degree in tax law or a legal and tax major from a business school) supplemented by 5 to 7 years of experience as a tax specialist in a law firm or within an international group.
  • You have a special ability to grasp new subjects and take initiatives, manage various cases simultaneously and independently with coherence.
  • The position also requires rigor, analytical skills, listening, and a strong appetite for the Group's present and future challenges.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication to provide clear and precise solutions to facilitate sound decision-making.
  • You are capable of working in a team, across functions.
  • Solid accounting and financial knowledge are also required.
  • You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
