Who you are:
You will integrate the Tax & Accounting department, with a specific focus on tax doctrine, statutory accounting, and fiscal reporting for French entities of the Group.
Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of tax and accounting documentation, ensuring compliance with French tax regulations and Group policies.
What you’ll do:
As Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in securing the Group’s tax positions and ensuring the accuracy of statutory and fiscal reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare forecast and actual financial documents for employee representative bodies (CSE) and for entities facing financial difficulties.
Tax reporting:
- Prepare, review, and coordinate French tax packages for Eutelsat SA, Eutelsat Communications, FRANSAT, as well as the global tax package for French tax-integrated entities, including the French tax filing of Eutelsat International.
- Prepare and file tax declarations (Organic / C3S, CVAE, TVTS, rental taxes).
- Maintain and develop Excel tools used for tax result calculations and reporting.
- Contribute to international tax reporting (Country-by-Country Reporting, Pillar 2).
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation and tax filings.
- Respond to requests from tax authorities, Banque de France, and other official bodies.
- Provide accounting and tax guidance on the statutory and social treatment of complex transactions.
Accounting:
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and annexes for French entities.
- Monitor off-balance-sheet commitments for French entities.
- Calculate and monitor management fees, capitalized salaries, and intra-group margins.
- Support subsidy applications and assist in employee profit-sharing (participation) calculations, including simulations.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Accounting, Tax, Finance or equivalent (DSCG, ESC).
- 5+ years of experience in a tax, accounting, or audit role, ideally within a large group or audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of French tax and statutory accounting rules.
- Advanced Excel skills; strong proficiency in Pack Office.
- Ability to work with complex data and multiple legal entities.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
- Evolutive profile, capable of growing within the tax and finance function.
