Who You Are:

As a Solution Delivery Manager, you will work closely to different functions inside the Eutelsat Group (Engineering, IT, Operations, Commercial and Legal team), leading technical discussions and activities and supporting the Delivery team to assure that business objectives and contractual obligations are met consistently for both internal and external customers. Your technical background combined to your superior communication skills will be the foundation to lead multi-discipline, highly technical service definitions and discussions.

Successful candidates will have a strong telecommunication system design background, focused on radiofrequency expertise. As well as be detail oriented, self-driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • In support to Sales team and in coordination with Pre-Sales team, you will manage service implementation requests and verify the implementability in response to specific customer (both internal and external) needs, ultimately validating customized/ad-hoc technical solutions and providing planning and cost analysis.
  • In coordination with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams, you will lead the assessments of the impacts and the risks of implementing new services or modifying services already implemented
  • You will ensure customer satisfaction and deliverable quality by managing business technical requests, verifying technical solutions and anticipating potential issues.
  • You will develop and promote best practices for supporting the improvement of satellite and ground segment resources, contributing to the improvement of the customer experience and resources optimizations.
  • You will coordinate cross-functional teams to align with business objectives, getting rid of any roadblock to revenue and clearly communicating objectives, plans, issues, and risks to key stakeholders.
  • You will develop and promote best practices for business support processes and governance, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • You will apply, implement, and continuously improve the Demand Management Process to address technical requests from both internal and external customers.
  • You will facilitate the handover of responsibilities and knowledge transfer to technical and operational teams involved in the implementation phase of the customer services.

 

What it Takes: 

  • Preferred master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Information Technology, or a related field with strong experience in telecom.
  • 5+ years of customer facing Technical Solution Definition experience in TLC companies or related industries including scope, schedule, costs along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Good knowledge of Telecommunication and IT systems with particular focus on satellite and networking systems
  • Ability to anticipate needs and prioritise effectively. You proactively drive progress toward achieving objectives with a commercial mindset and a customer-first, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of bridging gaps between C-level executives and subject matter experts while building trust with customers and partners.
  • Strong decision-making skills, effectively prioritizing multiple issues and requests while clearly communicating information to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional team spirit, with a focus on mentoring, training, and using a coaching approach to bring out the best in others.
  • Ability to implement new processes or procedures and promote best practices.
  • Proficiency level in written and spoken English and French (C1/C2). Italian and Spanish are a plus.
  • Ability to travel if required

What We’d Love:

  • Familiarity with Requirements Analysis and Solution Design best practices, with a focus on Agile Methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of BSS/OSS, NMS/EMS systems
  • Good knowledge on TCP/IP networking basics and network design principles
  • Good knowledge of B2C and B2B Internet Service Providers business: backhauling, maritime or aviation services, governmental or business-critical applications.
  • Knowledge of Business process principles and best practices and a direct experience with change management initiatives.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million euros businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

 

Where You’ll Be: Turin/Paris/London (direct report in Turin)
