Your impact : 

Take part in an international project to connect the world as a Project Manager in the Connectivity Business Unit of EUTELSAT

 

Your principale missions : 

As a member of the Project Management team responsible for the following key missions in the organization :

  • Managing Customer projects and programs which includes :
    • The execution of Eutelsat contractual obligations in front of the customer until the commercial launch for connectivity services.
    • Ensures the coordination of all internal and external stakeholders to deliver smoothly and timely a comprehensive service to our customers during their on-boarding as new customer or for new services.
    • Perform customer on-boarding and hypercare during transition phase to ensure the customer is autonomous in using the service.
    • Support presales in building work breakdown, responsibility split and project plans needed during the bid phase and anticipate execution phase.

 

  • Managing the execution of internal projects involving a large range of teams within Eutelsat and contributing to Eutelsat Connectivity business activities and transformation such as projects supporting product roadmap.

 

  • Ensure internal alignment between business priorities and technical execution plans through the management of the Demand Management process.

 

You will contribute to all those activities depending on business priorities and will contribute to activities and organizational continuous improvement.

 

You are accountable for the success or failure of a project and the key assignments will cover several areas :

  • Create and manage the project plans to move Connectivity Business Unit products, solutions and projects from design to final client handoff.
  • Be the natural Customer interface accountable for the execution of the connectivity service setup project, and for coordinating all project stakeholders internally (sales, presales, technical department,…)
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled follow-up meetings and reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Support sales and presales during customer contracting phase.

Your profile : 

Education & Qualification :

  • Master's degree in Information technology, Telecommunications, computer science or related field
  • 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a technical area (such as telecommunications, networking, software development or satellite communications), and where you demonstrated some project or program management skills.
  • Knowledge in project management methodologies and certifications such as PMI PMP or Prince2 are a plus.

 

Preferred skills :

  • Excellent leadership, anticipation and sense of priorities
  • Having a strong analytical/problem solving mindset
  • A commercial mind-set, with a « customer first » and « can do » attitude is essential.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teaming abilities, proactivity and results-orientation are essentials
  • Interest in Service (knowing the best practices in service management is a plus
  • Fluent English is mandatory, French and/or Spanish are a plus.
