We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP FICO Business Analyst to join EUTELSAT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO and possess a deep understanding of financial and accounting processes within a business environment. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying process improvements, and implementing solutions to enhance our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements related to financial and accounting processes.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions to address business needs and streamline financial operations.
- Perform system testing, identify and resolve issues, and ensure successful deployment of SAP FICO enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and processes.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO-related issues, resolving problems and ensuring system stability.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP FICO trends and best practices, recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants, as necessary, to deliver SAP FICO projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain strong communication and build effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial processes and systems with business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Business Analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
- Proficient in configuring and customizing SAP FICO functionalities, including the creation of master data, setting up chart of accounts, and defining financial structures.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes within a business environment.
- Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve system issues.
- Experience with system integration, data migration, and system testing.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within established timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Additional Technology Skills:
In addition to the SAP FICO expertise, familiarity with the following technologies would be advantageous for working in a communication satellite company:
- Satellite communication systems and protocols.
- Network management systems.
- Radio frequency (RF) engineering tools.
- Data analytics and reporting tools.
- Cloud computing platforms.
- IT security and compliance frameworks.
