The role

As a member of the Corporate Communications Department, you will be part of the communications team and will be responsible for establishing and increasing awareness of the Group by promoting Eutelsat's image internally and externally through various communication channels including social media.


1) Media & Public Relations


You will support the development of Eutelsat’s key messages to the media. You will work in close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders and with our external communication agencies. You will be required to undertake the following tasks:


  • Build up a database of journalists and target the media according to their areas of expertise, coverage and periodicity
  • Assist in the drafting of press communication materials: press releases, blog articles, press kits, presentations, videos, press invitations
  • Maintain and develop relationships with journalists and partner agencies
  • Help organize press conferences (launches, special events, etc.),
  • Respond to day-to-day requests from journalists
  • Evaluate and analyse press coverage 


2) Internal Communications


Liaising with the Human Resources Department and with the staff identified as internal communication correspondents within the Group, your internal communication mission will be to bring together and secure the employees’ endorsement of the Group’s projects, while fostering their pride in belonging to the Group, through the following missions:


  • Coordinate the editorial agenda of the Group's internal communications.
  • Develop and implement the internal communication tools and media (mainly Intranet and video screens): write articles and news items, script videos, and upgrade the existing tools
  • Design and organize internal events, digital and physical
  • Set up and monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for optimization





The ideal candidate will be a team player with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a member of the Corporate Communications in a multinational company in a related field (Space, telecommunications, aerospace / defence, technology). Fluency in English, both written and spoken is a must, as are proven drafting skills, the ability to rapidly analyse and distil information, and the ability to comply with processes and meet deadlines.
