Are you someone who loves writing content, producing videos, and using digital channels? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We're looking for a marketing, communication university student to join our Group Internal Communications team. Reporting to the Group Internal Communications Director, you will be able to boost your skills and get involved in many diverse and interesting projects, working with a great variety of people within the Group.

What You’ll Do:

 

As an Internal Communication apprentice within the Human Resources Department, you will be part of a dynamic and international team, supporting the success of our Group wide strategy and will be and contributing to creating a great employee experience - more specifically for our colleagues based in France. Your contribution to the team’s missions:

 

  • Journalism – helping to report on what’s happening across Eutelsat Group, you’ll learn the art of writing to inform, and how to turn corporate speak into engaging content.
  • Content creation – writing engaging news stories, copy for campaigns and emails, creating videos and online content. You will also help develop the fortnightly Group newsletter.
  • Campaigns and project management – helping develop overarching campaigns to keep our colleagues informed, and managing them end-to-end.
  • Intranet management – helping update our intranet (SharePoint) and train contributors from the various departments.
  • Events’ organisation - designing and managing internal communication actions and events for the Issy-les-Moulineaux head office, to ensure a dynamic and friendly working environment within the staff members' community, using both face-to-face and digital tools.
  • KPIs monitoring - taking stock of actions and identifying areas for optimisation.
  • This list of tasks is not exhaustive, and you may be involved in other activities depending on your experience, needs and motivation!

 

What it Takes:

 

  • In your Master’s studies (Communication, Business School or university).
  • You are familiar with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, and knowledge of the Play Play tool to create videos is a plus.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and you’ll be a team player who’s able to build effective relationships. You will be able to synthesise and analyse, be rigorous, dynamic, and are keen to take initiatives.
  • You are fluent in English.

 

What We’d Love:

 

  • Knowing DTP tools (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a plus, as well as having experience with SharePoint.

You will be based at the Issy-les-Moulineaux site, a stimulating, modern, intercultural location, at the heart of the French telecoms industry, and close to the transport network!
