Job Overview
The Service Implementation Engineering H_LEO position is responsible for translating service concepts and requirements into concrete implementation solutions for IRIS2 HardGov services in the LEO satellite layer. Working in close collaboration with the Service Engineering H_LEO team, this role focuses on the technical implementation aspects, third-party integrations, OSS/BSS provisioning, and performance monitoring solutions to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Service Implementation Architecture & Design

- Develop detailed implementation architectures based on Service CONOPs and requirements provided by the Service Engineering H_LEO team
- Design technical integration frameworks for LEO layer services with existing and planned infrastructure
Third-Party Application Integration Requirements

- Define comprehensive integration requirements for third-party applications interfacing with LEO HardGov services
- Coordinate the Development of API specifications, data exchange protocols, and security frameworks for external system integration
- Establish certification and validation processes for third-party applications
OSS/BSS (Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems) Integration

- Define provisioning requirements for OSS/BSS systems to support LEO service lifecycle management
- Develop automated provisioning workflows and service activation processes
- Design fault management and service assurance integration with OSS platforms
- Create service catalog integration specifications for customer-facing portals
Quality Assurance & Testing Framework
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies for service implementation validation
- Define integration testing procedures and acceptance criteria
- Create end-to-end testing scenarios covering third-party integrations and OSS/BSS workflows
- Support user acceptance testing coordination base on requirements from stakeholders (ESA/EC/EUSPA)
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong background in systems integration and service implementation
- Experience with OSS/BSS platforms and telecommunications service provisioning
- Knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Understanding of satellite communications and space-based service delivery
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in service implementation engineering or similar technical roles
- Proven track record in large-scale system integration projects
- Experience working with third-party vendors and integration requirements
- Background in telecommunications or aerospace industry preferred
- Experience with European space programs or regulatory environments is advantageous
Where You’ll Work:
- Ideally based in one of the Eutelsat Group head quarter offices within the European Union, Paris, France or Torino, Italy
- International travel required
