Job Overview:
The HG Service Engineering LEO-High position is responsible for defining and following the technical aspects of IRIS2 HardGov services in the LEO satellite layer, in cooperation with the corresponding MEO role and under the coordination of the Service Engineering Officer. This includes participation to workshops with the customer (ESA/EC), conceptualising service operations, setting performance indicators, defining service operation concept, working with System Architecture Team to provide requirements to ensure optimal service delivery and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Definition of Service CONOPs (Concept of Operations) and Service Requirement Document :
- Develop and maintain detailed service operation models for the LEO layer in cooperation with the Service Engineering team and under the coordination of the Service Engineering Officer.
- Contribute to the definition of the catalog of services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (System engineering) and Stakeholders (EC, EUSPA) to align operational concepts.
- Support on the Definition of HardGov Service KPIs:
- Co-develop the refinement of definition of Service KPIs (measurement methodology, target values) in coordination with System Engineering stream and under the coordination of the Service Engineering Officer.
- Support the flow down and ensure consistency of these values throughout the different streams of the project.
- Elaboration of Service Requirements (Performance, Provisioning, Monitoring):
- Translate service performance goals and High-Level CONOPs into clear technical HG Service requirements in coordination with the Service Engineering team.
- Outline provisioning and monitoring parameters to ensure service stability and scalability.
- Lead the Evolution of Key Deliverables in the Service Stream (LEO Layer):
- Contribution to the utilisation of the satellites in the LEO layer.
- Drive updates to the Service Implementation Plan and contribute to the HG product catalogue to ensure continuous alignment with market and technical demands
Where You’ll Work:
- Ideally based in one of the Eutelsat Group head quarter offices within the European Union, Paris, France or Torino, Italy
- Flexible in-office and from-home remote work
- International travel required
