Overview:
The Enterprise Application Services Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the global administration and management of shared applications across the business. The role will involve assisting in inventory, configuration, governance, and documentation of applications, coordinating migration efforts, and ensuring applications are integrated, maintained, and used effectively. This position is essential for ensuring that enterprise applications are fully leveraged to meet business needs while maintaining security and operational excellence.
What you’ll do:
Platform Operations
- Execute standard configurations, permission models, templates/blueprints and cleanup tasks across the application portfolio.
- Resolve L2/L3 incidents/requests within SLA and escalate to vendors when needed.
- Perform routine backups/restore tests following runbooks and keep inventories up to date.
Identity, Access & Security
- Apply SSO/SCIM procedures, group mappings and least-privilege rules under guidance.
- Execute periodic access reviews, token/secret rotation tasks, and basic data retention/cleanup jobs.
Integrations & Automation
- Maintain a catalog of integrations (owners, scopes, keys); monitor basic health checks.
- Build light automations (Python/Bash/PowerShell) for cleanup, audit/usage exports and metadata cleanup.
ITSM & Service Quality
- Maintain Knowledge Base articles and known-error records; suggest request form/queue improvements.
- Track SLA attainment and backlog age; propose quick wins to reduce resolve time.
Enablement & Adoption
- Organize short training courses, webinars, collect feedback, and iterate.
- Promote usage guidelines (naming, workflow states, labeling, branching/review patterns).
Knowledge & Documentation
- Keep living documentation (standards, runbooks, RBAC matrices, integration maps) clear and searchable.
- Publish concise “what’s new” notes for users and regular internal summaries for stakeholders.
FinOps
- Support license monitoring (reclaim dormant seats, right-size tiers) and renewal preparation (usage reports, forecasts).
Qualifications
Must-have
- 1–3 years in application support, IT administration, or business analysis.
- Exposure to enterprise tools in at least two categories (work management/collab/dev platforms/quality/e-signature/roadmapping).
- ITSM experience (incident/change/problem) and strong documentation habits.
- Basic scripting (Python or Bash or PowerShell) and comfort with REST APIs/webhooks.
- Ability to communicate with end-users and translate needs into practical configurations.
- Working proficiency in English.
Nice-to-have
- Awareness of SSO/SCIM and RBAC designs.
- Basic cloud notions (compute, identity, storage, backups).
- Familiarity with GDPR/ISO-style evidence keeping.
