About You
You’re an organized and detail-oriented legal professional looking to take on a Corporate Legal Advisor role in a dynamic, international team.
- You have experience 6–10 years in corporate or legal environments, with knowledge of areas like finance or stock market law.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and experience managing boards of directors
- Skills in company law are essential; knowledge of private law or stock market law is appreciated.
- You enjoy working collaboratively in a team and have a proactive attitude.
- You’re comfortable handling tasks independently and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- You’re familiar with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
What You’ll Do
As part of the corporate legal team, you’ll:
- Assist in organizing and supporting board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Support the preparation of general shareholder meetings for the group’s main companies.
- Stay updated on changes in corporate governance rules and share relevant insights with the team.
- Provide guidance to boards on their responsibilities and governance practices.
- Help develop and maintain corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Act as a contact for directors on governance-related matters, including onboarding and training.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including filings and notifications for statutory bodies.
- Assist with market announcements and insider management.
- Support the drafting of governance-related sections of company reports.
- Work with HR to align compensation policies with regulations and best practices.
Your Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a practical approach to tasks.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
