In this Apprenticeship: placed under the supervision of the Group Chief Compliance Officer, who reports directly to the General Secretary and is a member of the Executive Committee, the junior compliance officer will be required to assist her in all her tasks, demonstrating autonomy, rigour, initiative and high responsiveness.

 

In this role, he/she will be in direct contact with all high-level internal partners (in particular the Sales and Finance Departments) as well as external contacts (in particular auditors and external advisers), in an international environment.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance Officer, the apprentice will be required to:

- Contribute to the roll-out of the anticorruption action plan following the update of the anti-corruption risk map, in particular by helping to draft new procedures or update existing procedures ;

- Prepare and participate in second-level controls, while monitoring key indicators;

 - Act as secretary to the Compliance Committee (held every two months and attended by several members of the Executive Committee) and to the Group's network of compliance officers;

 - Prepare and participate in anti-corruption training for all Group employees and, more generally, in raising awareness among stakeholders through targeted communication initiatives; ensure the dissemination and monitoring of internal procedures;

 - Prepare presentations to the Executive Committee, the Audit, Risks and Compliance Committee and the Board of Directors;

 - Contribute to the finalization of the AFA questionnaire, handle ad hoc document management and, where appropriate, audit management;

 - Contribute to the day-to-day monitoring of requests made by the operational departments, particularly in connection with the implementation of procedures with regard to third parties (customers and suppliers in particular);

- Monitor legal developments.

 

What it Takes:

 

- You are currently studying for a Masters 2 in Business Law, or Compliance Law.

- Your studies have enabled you to acquire solid knowledge of compliance law and business ethics, and more generally of private law and business law, in France and in the UK;

- You have a professional level of English: you have a perfect command of spoken and written French and English, with good drafting skills.

- Knowledge of new technologies and data privacy law is an advantage.

You are very familiar with IT and office automation tools.

You will be based at the Issy-Les-Moulineaux site, a stimulating, modern, intercultural location, at the heart of the various players in the French telecoms sector, and close to transport links!
