Apprentice - Group Controlling

The position                

The apprentice will join the Group controlling team within the finance department, a team responsible for forecasting and budgeting cycles, monthly reporting to Management within Eutelsat group. This team works in close interaction with other departments such as Consolidation, Accounting as well as all group subsidiaries. 



The apprentice will contribute to the Group controlling team’s day to day work, which includes:


  • Monthly closing & reporting, will be in charge of the P&L of a few entities, under the responsibility of a financial controller, ensuring accuracy & consistency of data. This also includes revenue reconciliation for the US entity, consolidation entries, explanations of the main variations to Budget/Forecast. Participate to the production of the monthly reporting package. 
  • Revenue by geographical Area
  • Quarterly forecasting process, consolidation of data and providing analytical support for Group Business Reviews
  • Work with Commercial Controlling on monthly revenue accruals
  • Financial support on specific matter and projects




  • Bac+5 (gap year or last year) from Business School
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Analytic, rigorous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Strong skills and experience in Microsoft Excel, good knowledge of Powerpoint and interested in Information System
  • Fluent in English and French. Additional languages, as well as international experience, is a plus
  • Experience in audit company is a plus
