What You’ll Do:
The Customer Supply Specialist reports to the Customer Supply Manager Africa
The Customer Supply Specialist covers dedicated region and customers. He/she performs all activities and tasks necessary to operate the orders deliveries all over the world.
What it Takes:
Summary of the position:
The Africa Customer Supply Specialist mission is to organize the follow-up and management of the logistics flow for the Konnect Africa entities in the Democratic Republic of Congo & Ivory coast. This activity will mainly focus on all the offices attached to the DRC Hub & Ivory Coast.
For this position, a 360° understanding of the local government ecosystem through the ability to ensure compliance with current import regulations and the monitoring of sales activities is an asset. So, the Logistics & Customer Supply must:
- Manage the end-to-end process of the logistics flows related to the inbound flows/ Warehousing/ logistics preparation/ shipments/ Outbound deliveries through specific tools,
- Assist with administrative procedures related to the business (e.g. equipments approval by the regulator, etc.),
- Manage contractual relation with Supply Chain Partners and the warehouse,
- Monitor the stock level including the weekly, monthly inventories and the reconciliations of results,
- Follow up the orders to be prepared and shipped from warehouses to the customers,
- Monitor and manage all the return material for the dedicated customers through specific tools,
- Monitor the performance: operations and local costs,
- Animate the improvement action plan if any,
- Find alternatives to improve the solutions for Sales Team requests
- Manage potential claims & delays for the assigned distribution partners
The Africa Customer Supply Specialist has the following internal customers:
- Other teams of the Operations Direction
- Supply Chain Teammates
- Sales & Finance Team
The Africa Customer Supply Specialist is accountable for the KPI and the processes in his/her scope:
- KPI related to the leadtime (time to prepare & time to deliver)
- KPI related to the stock management (Inventory accuracy)
- KPI related to the cost (Average cost of storage / Kit outbounded / distribution channel in the country etc).
Qualification – experience and skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar business environment,
- Good knowledge and experience of Supply chain & Logistics,
- Good knowledge of African countries & market,
- University degree in management or business school (Bac+5),
- Computer skills (Word - Excel - PPT),
- Knowledge of customs legislation,
- French / English written and spoken,
- Good Communication and able to work with a remote management team,
- Analytical & synthetical skills,
- Ability to build strong relationships with local partners and local administrative entities,
- Ability to adapt to organizational changes and for challenges.
- Capability to travel over DRC & Ivory Coast any time and in case of any need.
