Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Specialist to join our team in Cagliari. The successful candidate will provide on-site IT support for the Teleport, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of local IT services and infrastructure.
The role combines technical support, systems maintenance, IT governance activities, asset management, and procurement administration. The candidate will work closely with local users, global IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality IT services and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
On-Site IT Support
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end users at the Cagliari Teleport.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printing, and connectivity issues.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation preparation and equipment deployment.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, collaboration tools, and standard corporate software.
- Coordinate with regional and global IT teams for incident resolution and service requests.
Systems & Infrastructure Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain local IT infrastructure, including workstations, meeting room equipment, network devices, and peripheral systems.
- Support the implementation of security policies, software updates, and IT standards.
- Assist with inventory management of IT assets and equipment.
- Support local IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.
IT Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, processes, and local technical configurations.
- Support audits, governance initiatives, and operational reporting activities.
- Monitor adherence to cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
Procurement & Asset Management
- Create and manage purchase requests for hardware, software, and IT services.
- Process goods receipts and maintain procurement records for the entire IT department.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of IT equipment and services.
What You'll Need:
- Fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
- Experience providing on-site IT support in a corporate environment.
- Good knowledge of:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Active Directory
- Endpoint management solutions
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
- Hardware troubleshooting and deployment
- Experience with IT asset management and procurement processes is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and documentation practices.
