Missions
The successful candidate will work in our Strategy and Resource Business unit and will report directly to the Head of Fleet Management and Development.
He/she will be responsible of performing studies ensuring the in-orbit resource optimization for the Eutelsat satellite fleet and the strategic redeployment of in-orbit satellites.
He/she will be in charge of performing studies for the deployment and development of future satellite missions, both in GEO and LEO orbit.
This mission includes the following assignments:
- Optimize the use of current in-orbit and future satellites
- Perform studies on future satellite missions, both in GEO and LEO orbit
- Ensure implementation of satellites’ operational configurations
- Responsible Management and development of operational databases for the Eutelsat space segment (OSS space segment, antenna matrices for Visual Orbital, etc.)
- Ensure technical data integration and knowledge continuity in order to include new satellites’ data in the operational database and Development of enabling tools
- Provide reference information on Eutelsat fleet performance and capabilities, ie for commercial and marketing teams
- Participate to service transfers between satellites under the deployment plan
- Define electrical and thermal management schedules and ring restoration in coordination with the Engineering Department, the CSC and commercial teams
- Perform any additional technical and management activities required for the Group’s proper operations
- Competition follow-on
Profile
- Master's degree in Telecommunication or Satellite Engineer
- Fluent French and English is mandatory
- Experience in telecom or space sector is appreciated
